Barrington Emergency Dentist
Dr. Bonk and his staff know that sometimes dental care can’t wait, especially if your dental emergency is causing you a lot of pain. If a tooth gets damaged from a fall, a sporting accident, or even from just from biting down on something hard, often you’ll have better results if the tooth is replaced or fixed within the first few hours.
If you have a toothache, Dr. Bonk’s focus will be to relieve your pain immediately, and then he will discuss your options if a more long-term solution is needed.
New Patient Dental Emergencies
If you need an emergency dentist, we will see you today. Give us a call at (847) 381-3210 during our office hours which are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:40 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 7:40 a.m. to Noon.
Situations requiring emergency treatment include:
- A crown that has fallen off or broken – even if it doesn’t hurt, a missing crown will cause the teeth around it to shift in the first couple of days, so this needs prompt attention.
- Chipped or broken tooth – in the front of the mouth, this can be an esthetic emergency and can be repaired on the spot with direct dental bonding.
- Toothache – this is usually caused by an infected tooth.
- Loose filling – decay can get under a loose filling very easily, and prompt attention could save you from needing a root canal treatment.
Please don’t suffer in pain… call us today at (847) 381-3210 so we can help.
